Dr. V.G. Ravindhren is an experienced and accomplished academic and administrator with over 25 years of teaching experience in Computer Engineering. He began his career as a Part-time Lecturer in 1993, earning regularization in 1995. Since 1996, he has served as the Head of Department of the Computer Engineering department, demonstrating his strong leadership and management skills.

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Ravindhren gained valuable industry experience spanning three years. This practical background, combined with his extensive teaching tenure, has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Dr. Ravindhren's administrative experience is extensive and varied. He served as the Continuing Education Manager of CIICP for four years (2007-2011) and as the Controller of Examinations (2012-2014), showcasing his ability to manage complex organizational tasks. He also served as Vice-Principal from September 2018 to April 2024. From April 2014 he is serving as the Principal of S.I.T

His commitment to academic advancement is evident in his successful execution of two MODROB projects funded by AICTE in 1997 and 2002, where he served as Principal Investigator. He also coordinated the Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Exam (TNPCEE) Online Hall Ticket Issue (Anna University) at the S.I.T Regional Center for three years.

Dr. Ravindhren's dedication to professional development is highlighted by his participation in the AICTE-UKIERI Further Education Leadership program workshop conducted by Dudley College, UK, which included visits to UK further education colleges in July 2016. He has also been awarded the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership by WALES, UK.

Dr. Ravindhren holds a Ph.D. in "Resource Optimization in Cloud Environment," . He has published research papers in International journals , conference proceedings , participated in National-level and international level conferences.

His technical expertise is further validated by his international certifications, including:

• Red Hat RHCT
• IBM Mainframe Professional Certification from C-DAC, Government of India.
