About the Department

The Department of Paper Technology, established in 1990, has been dedicated to delivering quality education and fostering innovation in the field of pulp and paper engineering. Achieving autonomous status in 1994, the department gained the flexibility to design its own curriculum, keeping pace with industry advancements and sustainable practices. With modern laboratories, experienced faculty, and a practical learning approach, the department equips students with expertise in pulp processing, paper manufacturing, quality control, and environmental sustainability. Committed to research, industry collaboration, and eco-friendly practices, it prepares graduates to excel as skilled professionals, contributing to advancements in the paper and packaging industry.
