1.    For Direct second year : a PASS in HSC academic /HSC                Vocational /ITI

2.    For  First  year            : a pass in SSLC or equivalent

Admission

The Institute is managed by aGoverning Councilconsisting of Industrialists, Engineers and Educationalists.The Principal isthe CEO of the Institute.. He is the controlling authority andis responsiblefor maintenance of the standards of Education, interdepartmentalco-ordinationand conduct of examination in the Institute. He is assisted bytheVice-Principal in administration and by the Heads of the departmentsinacademics. The tradition established is maintained till date.

Autonomous Status

 

Autonomy statusfrom               -   1994

Government of Tamil Nadu has offered autonomous status to the institution from the year 1994-1995. It has its own Academic Board and Awards Committee to guide the Autonomous Board activities. The autonomy provides flexibility to the institution to frame its own syllabus in tune with the rapidly changing technology and conduct examinations and assess the performance of students continuously.
