The Institute is managed by a Governing Council consisting of Industrialists, Engineers and Educationalists. The Principal is the CEO of the Institute.. He is the controlling authority and is responsible for maintenance of the standards of Education, interdepartmental co-ordination and conduct of examination in the Institute. He is assisted by the Vice-Principal in administration and by the Heads of the departments in academics. The tradition established is maintained till date.

Autonomous Status

Autonomy status from               -    1994

Government of Tamil Nadu has offered autonomous status to the institution from the year 1994-1995. It has its own Academic Board and Awards Committee to guide the Autonomous Board activities. The autonomy provides flexibility to the institution to frame its own syllabus in tune with the rapidly changing technology and conduct examinations and assess the performance of students contionusly.
